After using our mugs, my wife and I, for several years, the lids can become worn from use and or dropping the mug. Since this mug does such a great job at keeping hot - HOT and cold - COLD, we decided to replace our lids (no, we never LOST our lids) with new ones to allow the continued use of the best thermal mug on the market.
